London Craft Week 2025, I was beyond ecstatic to be in collaboration with Felt Collection to create two new artworks for their exhibition, 'TEXERE'.

TEXERE: A Collection of Textiles presented by FELT alongside The Peanut Vendor.

Texere, to weave, gives meaning to the words textile and text. Words are woven together to construct a sentence as yarns are woven together to form fabric.

This exhibition brings together artists who incorporate stories and, or, words into their work whilst exploring the boundaries of their materials. Traditional crafts such as embroidery, quilting, natural dyeing, patchwork and knitting are both celebrated and subverted to feel relevant in the contemporary landscape.

Textiles have a rich and long history across all continents and people. TEXERE explores the voice of today’s artists within this context whilst reinforcing the gentle strength and power held within textiles.
